Ktima Pavlidis was founded in 1998 by Christoforos Pavlidis, who after a persistent search has chosen this particular area to establish the vineyards and the winery. Ktima Pavlidis’ privately-owned vineyards are situated in the region of Kokkinogia and of Perichora. Both sites are well known for their vineyards since antiquity.
The main goal of Ktima Pavlidis is to produce fine wines from Greek indigenous and international varieties bearing the unique characteristics of the terroir. Ktima Pavlidis is one of the rare wineries in Greece night harvesting. In particular, Ktima Pavlidis features the family of wines Thema. Thema white is a blend of Assyrtiko and Sauvignon Blanc, Thema red is a blend of Agiorgitiko and Syrah and Thema rosé is made from the Spanish grape variety Tempranillo. Recently, a new rose wine called Alma was released, a blend of Agiorgitiko and Syrah. Their even more upscale wines are single varietal and are called Emphasis: Emphasis Assyrtiko, Emphasis Chardonnay, Emphasis Tempranillo, Emphasis Syrah and Emphasis Agiorgitiko.
