It all started in 1972, when Vlassis Halvatzis established a new, modern Company that focused in processing vegetables.
The sons of Vlassis, Vassilis & Leonidas Halvatzis joined the Company in 1989 and are today the owners and managers. In 1997 the factory was transferred to Rizo Skydra in Central Macedonia, covering land of 25.000 sq.m. Under the supervision of Lloyd’s Register, Halvatzis – Makedoniki became certified according to ISO 22000: 2005 , BRC and Global Gap. The Company’s vision is to bring innovation in healthy eating and make it easily accessible to everyday consumers.
