Haina Bros Co is one of the largest Greek companies producing, packing & marketing vinegar products. It was established as a winery in 1930 by Konstantinos Hainas. In 1974 the company expanded into the production of vinegar, buying off the Papadimitriou vinegar company. In 1991 the company expanded further, buying off the Deste plastic company, so that the in-house producing of bottles was feasible.
Since then the company has grown to become one of the biggest vinegar industries in the Balkans, with a yearly production capacity of more than 12000 tons of vinegar. Hainas is the only end-to-end vinegar producers in Greece, overseeing all stages of production from acidification to bottling. The business includes: A wine production unit for acidification, a vinegar production unit, a plastic bottle production unit, a Dressings and Sauces production unit, a concentrate Fruit Juice production unit and a vinegar packaging unit (with three production lines). Haina products are traded all over Greece and Europe under its own brand Fino.
